Description
Lavender essential oil most commonly known for its relaxing effects on the body, therapeutic-grade lavender has been highly regarded for the skin. Lavender oil is widely used for various respiratory problems including throat infection, flu, cough, cold, asthma, sinus congestion, bronchitis, whooping cough, laryngitis, and tonsillitis. The lavender essential oil is also known as an excellent remedy for various types of pains including those caused by sore and tense muscles, muscular aches, rheumatism, sprains, backache, and lumbago. It is an excellent essential oil to have on hand as it helps heal minor cuts, bruises, and burns.
Applications & Recipes
Add 5 drops to 10 ml of carrier oil for local application.
Add 4-12 drops to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer and inhale deeply
for 5-10 minutes.
For diffusing, add 10-15 drops to diffuser.
For massage, add 2 drops to 20 ml carrier oil.
For skin care, add 1 drop to 10 ml carrier oil.
